Where the products come from

Products are sourced through the legitimate supply chain. We do not buy from uncertain sources and we do not deal in leftovers from other markets.

Every product has a traceable batch and manufacturer. That is not a formality — if a batch is ever withdrawn, being able to establish what went where is the whole point.

A generic is not a counterfeit

This confusion comes up often enough to be worth addressing directly.

A generic is a legitimate medicine containing the same active ingredient as the original branded product, in the same strength and form. It exists because the patent on the original has expired.

It has to meet the same quality requirements and demonstrate comparable levels in the body. The lower price comes from not having to fund decades-old research, not from lower quality.

A counterfeit is something else entirely: a product made outside the legitimate supply chain, with unknown contents. We have nothing to do with that.

Storage before dispatch

Products are kept under the conditions the manufacturer specifies — appropriate temperature, protected from moisture and light.

That matters in practice. A lot of substances lose potency after overheating or in high humidity, and nothing about the tablet looks different afterwards.

Expiry dates

Dates are checked before dispatch. We do not send products whose expiry is imminent unless the customer has been explicitly told.

The date is printed on the packaging and is worth checking when the parcel arrives.

Note that an expiry date applies to unopened packaging stored correctly. Once opened, some forms — drops, syrups, creams — have a shorter usable life. The leaflet states it.

After delivery it is down to storage

Worth knowing, because it directly affects whether a medicine still works.

• Dry, at room temperature
• Not in the bathroom — humidity and temperature swings are the worst combination
• Not left in a car, particulary in summer
• Away from direct light
• Keep products in their original packaging
• Out of reach of children

The bathroom point is the one most often broken, and it is the worst place in the house for medicines.

If something looks wrong

Contact us if you notice damaged packaging, a broken seal, an unusual appearance, smell or consistency, a missing leaflet, or anything that does not match the order.

Do not use the product in that situation. Write to us with a photograph and we will deal with it individually.

What we do not guarantee

We do not promise that a product will work the same way for everyone. Response to medicines is individual and depends on a great deal that we have no influence over.

Nor do we substitute for an examination. The information on this site helps you understand a product; it knows nothing about your medical situation.
